Donkey trekking
Segreti Mediterranei in cooperation with the Antonio Scalzi Farming Business organizes donkey trekking activities, consisting of hiking on the backs of our donkeys all along the walks. A new and exciting way of living closer to nature.
Many experiences carried out both in Italy and abroad have shown that a donkey can be an ideal companion for every lover of hiking and walking and it really seems that the number of people interested in this kind of activities will increase more and more.
Donkeys are fairly good animals, known as the most patient ones. They are tender, provident, untiring and careful above all, something that makes him one the most safe animals existing. It can easily carry upon its back every kind of baggage and everybody can ride it (it doesn’t matter how old you are): children, old people and everyone having some difficulties along the walk, so that the less accessible sites too can be reached.
Services and prices:
- - Walks along the valley leading to the canyon (20 minutes): 5,00 €
- - Walks from the entrance of the canyon up to the top of the valley: 10,00 €
